Our residency services provide meticulous care and mindful attention within the sanctuary of your home. Each stay is curated to include:

• Dedicated Overnight Companionship: Your companions enjoy the security and comfort of a professional presence throughout the evening, overnight, and morning hours.

• Nutritional & Wellness Management: Precise meal service and hydration monitoring according to your pet’s established dietary schedule.

• Curated Enrichment & Movement: Personalized activity sessions, including neighborhood promenades and interactive play tailored to your pet’s unique energy levels.

• Professional Hygiene & Stewardship: Daily habitat or litter box maintenance to ensure a pristine and sanitary home environment.

• Medical-Grade Oversight: Professional administration of oral or topical medications following strict safety and timing protocols.

• Estate Stewardship: We provide an active overnight presence that enhances home security, alongside basic maintenance including light/blind rotation, waste management, and the retrieval of mail and standard parcels (up to 30 lbs). For oversized or heavy freight deliveries, we kindly ask that you arrange for specialized handling.

• Standard Daily Service Reports: Comprehensive digital updates via Time To Pet, including wellness observations, GPS-tracked promenades, and high-resolution photo updates (as routine permits).

The Distinguished Stay is designed to provide the comfort of a familiar routine with the security of professional oversight. To maintain the highest quality of care and prevent provider fatigue, our standard residency operates on a 24-hour cycle that includes approximately 21 hours of presence.

• Professional Breaks: As is standard in elite pet care, the provider may be away from the residence for brief intervals (typically up to 3 continuous hours per 24-hour cycle) to manage administrative demands and essential errands.

• Safety Protocol: Prior to any temporary absence, your pet will receive a wellness break and be secured in a safe, comfortable environment as discussed during your Private Consultation.

• Constant Care Requirements: For companions requiring zero intervals of absence due to critical medical needs or severe separation anxiety, our Exclusive 24-Hour Constant Care tier is mandatory.

Our residency rates are structured by household complexity to ensure that every companion receives dedicated, individualized attention. Final pricing is confirmed during your Private Consultation.

Standard Wellness Residencies

Our standard residencies include evening, overnight, and morning routines with standard professional breaks for the provider.

• The 'Solo' Residency | 125 per night: Focused stewardship and overnight care for the single-pet household.

• The 'Duo' Residency | 150 per night: Comprehensive care for households with two companions.

• The 'Family' Residency | 175 per night: Expert management for larger families of 3 to 4 companions. (A +$15 surcharge applies for a 5th companion. Per our safety standards, households with 6+ pets require a customized stewardship quote.)

Exclusive Constant Care

• The Constant Care Residency | 350 per 24 hours: Uninterrupted professional presence (zero provider breaks). This tier is exclusively reserved for high-acuity medical needs, post-surgical recovery, or acute separation anxiety.

  
  Tier Capacity: Rate includes comprehensive care for up to two (2) companions. To reflect the increased complexity of managing larger households without provider intervals of absence, a +25 surcharge applies for each additional companion (maximum 5 total).

Essential Residency Fees

• Elite Puppy Foundation: +35/night (Companions under 1 year)

• Feline & Kitten Stewardship: Included (Standard residency rates apply to kittens of all ages).

• Bespoke Greenery Stewardship: +10/night (Attentive care for indoor or patio plants; final quote based on volume and complexity).

• Habitat Stewardship: +10/night per habitat (Specialized oversight for small mammals, birds, or reptiles).

Service Surcharges

• Holiday Observance: +50 per night. Applied to all major holidays and associated holiday weekends.

• Priority (Same-Day) Booking: +50 Applied to requests made with less than 24-hour notice to accommodate urgent scheduling.

• Regional Travel Surcharge: A one-time logistical fee per booking for locations 5+ miles from our center. For "Destination Residencies" (e.g., Orange County), a custom relocation quote will be provided.

To maintain the Gold Standard of care and ensure our focus remains entirely on your companion’s well-being, our home-related tasks are strictly limited to the following Stewardship Protocol:

• Security Maintenance: We provide an active overnight presence, including the rotation of interior lights/blinds and the retrieval of mail and standard parcels (up to 30 lbs) to maintain a secure, "lived-in" appearance.

• Refuse Management: We will manage the movement of trash and recycling bins to the curb on designated collection days.

• Environmental Oversight: We monitor the home’s climate and utility functionality to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for your companions.

• Bespoke Greenery (Optional): Attentive care for select indoor or patio plants is available as a professional add-on. Please Note: To prioritize pet safety, we do not offer extensive gardening, lawn maintenance, or specialized greenhouse management.

Professional Boundaries: Best Friends Pet Services LLC provides specialized residency stewardship, not general household management or personal assistant services. Our protocol does not include administrative tasks, deep cleaning, or the management of outside contractors unless previously authorized as emergency maintenance. Any request outside this established protocol must be submitted via the Time To Pet portal and may incur additional professional fees.

• Verified Health Documentation: To prioritize the safety of all companions in our care, current Rabies vaccination records must be uploaded and approved via Time To Pet prior to service confirmation.

• Behavioral & Medical Transparency: A full disclosure of medical history and behavioral nuances is required. This transparency allows us to prepare for your companion's specific needs and ensures a safe, low-stress residency.

• Secure & Reliable Access: Functional entry methods (keys, fobs, or gate codes) must be provided and tested during the Private Consultation. Clients are required to re-verify the functionality of all access methods 24 hours before the start of every residency.

• Digital-First Integrity: To ensure the highest level of accuracy, all care instructions and schedules must be documented within your secure Time To Pet profile. To prevent the loss of critical information, we do not utilize handwritten notes or verbal-only instructions. This centralized record ensures no detail of your companion’s stewardship is ever overlooked.

• Environment & Property Readiness: For the health of your companions and the safety of the provider, the residence must be provided in a clean, sanitary, and hazard-free condition. The home must maintain a consistent climate-controlled environment (68–75°F). To ensure a secure and focused care environment, the home must be free of pre-scheduled interior construction or non-essential renovations. Emergency maintenance (e.g., essential appliance or utility repair) is permitted and will be coordinated through the provider.

• Right to Refuse & Professional Discretion: To maintain the integrity of our Gold Standard and the safety of our team, Best Friends Pet Services LLC reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a care agreement at any time. This includes instances where a companion’s temperament poses a risk or where household conditions fall outside our Stewardship Protocol. We are committed to a partnership of mutual respect and professional alignment.

• Prospective Clients: To begin your journey with us, please submit a Service Inquiry through our Get Started link. This initial step allows us to review your household needs and ensure total alignment with our Stewardship Standards. Following our review, we will schedule your private Consultation.

• Established Clients: For your convenience, all residency requests, schedule modifications, and care plan updates are managed through your secure Time To Pet portal. This ensures a centralized and time-stamped record for every service.

• Reserved Commitment: Following your Private Consultation, full payment and a signed Service Agreement are required to formally secure your requested dates. Because we block our calendar exclusively for your residency, dates are not guaranteed until this commitment is finalized and the "Reserved" status is confirmed.

The Commitment Policy: Our residencies involve an exclusive reservation of our calendar for your household. Because we commit our overnight presence and primary daily focus to your home, we decline other overnight residencies for your selected dates. To honor this professional dedication, we adhere to the following schedule:

• 8+ Days Notice: 100% Refund of service total.

• 4–7 Days Notice: 50% Refund of service total.

• 3 Days or Less: 0% Refund (Includes late-notice modifications, no-shows, or inability to access the home).

Secure Payment Infrastructure: To ensure your reservation is finalized, all payments are processed securely through Stripe via the Time To Pet portal. We provide detailed, transparent digital invoicing for every residency.

Absolute Accountability: Every residency is documented via our secure client portal. We provide Standard Daily Service Reports consisting of wellness observations and GPS-tracked promenades. While we include photo updates when safety and routine permit, our primary focus remains the dedicated care and security of your companions.
