Individualized Enrichment: Each session is adapted to your dog’s energy levels, age, and individual needs, ensuring they receive the optimal balance of physical activity and mental stimulation.
Hydration & Refreshment: We provide fresh water breaks throughout the session to ensure your dog stays hydrated, particularly during warmer La Mesa days.
Professional Wellness Observation: A brief assessment of your pet's vitality, including mobility, mood, and a "Paw Check" to ensure they return home clean and comfortable.
Waste Disposal: We handle all pet waste responsibly and dispose of it properly, ensuring your neighborhood stays clean.
Communication & Peace of Mind
GPS Route Mapping: For your total peace of mind, all sessions are GPS-tracked, allowing you to see the route of your dog’s adventure.
The Gold Standard Update: You will receive a detailed digital report through the Time To Pet portal, including photos and notes on behavior, energy, and "potty" activity.
Household Security Check: Before departing, we ensure your dog is settled safely, the door is securely locked, and any alarms or lights are set according to your precise instructions.
Basic Reinforcement: Upon request, we can reinforce basic positive commands like "sit" or "stay" during the session using your established training methods.

We structure our Gold Circle packages around our Voyager and Elite tiers to provide optimal enrichment and consistent wellness for your companion. Note: All package rates are based on a single-dog household.

ESSENTIAL CARE POLICIES & FEES
Multiple Companion Protocol
Prioritizing safety and precise handling is our primary commitment.
Concurrent Promenades: An Additional Dog Fee of +5 per session applies for up to 5 dogs from the same household walked concurrently. This fee is calculated into the Gold Circle package totals (e.g., a Weekly Voyager package for two dogs would include a +25 weekly companion fee).
Individual Session Requirements: To maintain our rigorous safety standards, the sitter reserves the right to determine if companions require separate sessions based on temperament or leash skills. If separate sessions are required, each is billed as an individual service.
The Promenade Limit: We adhere to professional safety standards by limiting concurrent sessions to 5 dogs. Requests for 6 or more companions require a customized stewardship quote to ensure specialized safety protocols.
Elite Puppy Foundation
Investment: +15 per session
Required for all companions under one year of age. This fee ensures dedicated focus on early-stage development, reinforcement, and high-frequency relief.
Professional Service Surcharges
Holiday Observance: +15 per session (See Availability for designated dates).
Priority (Same-Day) Booking: +10 for requests made with less than 24-hour notice.
Extended Service Zone: To maintain our commitment to timely, high-quality care, a travel surcharge applies to locations outside our primary 5-mile radius (Applied once daily):
5.1 – 8 Miles: +10
8.1 – 12 Miles: +15
12.1 – 15 Miles: +20
Inquiries beyond 15 miles are Custom Quoted based on travel requirements.

To ensure the safety, well-being, and professional precision of our care, Best Friends Pet Services requires the following standards for all companions in our care:
Verified Rabies Vaccination: In accordance with California state law and our strict safety protocols, all canine and feline companions must be current on their Rabies vaccinations. Verifiable documentation must be uploaded to your secure Time To Pet profile and approved by Best Friends Pet Services prior to the confirmation of any service or the scheduling of a Private Consultation.
Preventative Health Standards: For the health and safety of the community, all dogs must be maintained on a regular, veterinarian-recommended flea and tick prevention program.
Identification & Security: All companions must wear a secure collar or harness with current ID tags, including primary contact information. We highly recommend microchipping for all pets.
Behavioral Transparency: Owners must fully disclose any known medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral challenges (including reactivity to strangers, thunderstorms, or resource guarding). This data is crucial for providing the safest and most effective curated care.
Temperament & Public Safety: We do not provide services for pets with a history of unprovoked aggression toward people or other animals. The safety of your pet, our care providers, and the public is our absolute priority.
Secure Household Access: Owners must provide reliable access to the property (e.g., two sets of keys, a secure lockbox, or a verified smart-lock code) at the time of the Private Consultation.
Emergency Preparedness: Owners must provide up-to-date emergency contact information for themselves and a local alternate contact authorized to make decisions in their absence.
Adequate Provisions: Owners are responsible for ensuring a sufficient supply of food, medication, and necessary pet care items for the duration of the scheduled services.
Right to Refuse & Professional Discretion: To maintain the Gold Standard of safety and the integrity of our professional environment, Best Friends Pet Services LLC reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a care agreement at any time. This includes cases where a companion’s temperament poses a risk to themselves or the care provider, or where a client’s requests fall outside our established Stewardship Protocol. We are committed to a partnership of mutual respect and professional alignment.

Standard Service Days
Active Service Days: Tuesday – Saturday
Administrative Stewardship: Sundays and Mondays are reserved for administrative management, Private Consultations, and professional recharging.
Exclusive Flexibility: While we prioritize our rest days, we may occasionally accommodate Sunday or Monday requests for established clients. These sessions are subject to a Priority (Same-Day) Surcharge and limited availability.
Service Windows & Safety
Arrival Windows: The Promenade is available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Natural Light Protocol: To ensure safety and visibility, Promenades are scheduled during daylight hours only. Evening care is available via our Boutique Wellness tier.
Holiday Observance: We are honored to provide care on major holidays. A +15 Holiday Surcharge applies per session.
Any specific dates of complete seasonal closure will be communicated to active clients well in advance via the portal.

Payment Schedule
Individual Promenades & Wellness Visits: Full payment is due at the time of booking to instantly secure your reservation on our calendar.
The Gold Circle Packages: Payment for curated packages is due in full at the time of booking to finalize your exclusive recurring schedule.
Accepted Methods
Digital Payment (Preferred): We accept all major credit cards for instant confirmation.
Professional Invoicing: A detailed, transparent invoice is generated for every service and remains accessible in your portal at all times.

To ensure fair compensation for our professional commitments and reserved time, we adhere to the following standards:
Standard Cancellation: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made outside this window incur no charge.
Late Cancellation: Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice are billed at 100% of the scheduled rate.
Access & No-Show: If the care provider is unable to access the home or the pet is unavailable, the service is billed at 100% of the rate to cover the reserved time and travel.
Method: All schedule modifications must be submitted via the Time To Pet portal.
