Individual Promenades
The Signature Promenade (30 Minute): 30
Our most requested choice for a refreshing neighborhood session. Focused on relief, hydration, and professional wellness observations.
The Voyager Promenade (45 Minute): 45
Ideal for high-energy companions requiring an extended adventure, behavioral reinforcement, and deep mental enrichment.
The Elite Promenade (60 Minute): 55
The premium choice for maximum engagement. Specifically designed for active breeds needing metabolic exercise or senior companions requiring a meticulous, slow-paced stroll.

I. Tailored Pet Care
Individualized Enrichment: Each session is adapted to your dog’s energy levels, age, and individual needs, ensuring they receive the optimal balance of physical activity and mental stimulation.
Hydration & Refreshment: We provide fresh water breaks throughout the session to ensure your dog stays hydrated, particularly during warmer La Mesa days.
Visual Wellness Observation: A brief assessment of your pet's vitality, including mobility, mood, and a "Paw Check" to ensure they return home clean and comfortable.
Sanitary Management: We handle all pet waste responsibly and dispose of it properly, ensuring your neighborhood remains pristine.
II. Communication & Peace of Mind
GPS Route Mapping: For your total peace of mind, all sessions are GPS-tracked, allowing you to see the route of your dog’s adventure.
The Gold Standard Update: You will receive a detailed digital report through the Time To Pet portal, including a photo and notes on behavior, energy, and activity.
Safe Haven Oversight: Before departing, we ensure your dog is settled safely, the door is securely locked, and any alarms or lights are set according to your precise instructions.
Behavioral Reinforcement: Upon request, we can reinforce basic positive commands like "sit" or "stay" during the session using your established training methods.

To ensure the safety, well-being, and professional precision of our care, Best Friends Pet Services requires the following standards for all companions in our care:
Verified Rabies Vaccination: In accordance with California state law and established safety protocols, all canine and feline companions must be current on their Rabies vaccinations. Verifiable documentation must be uploaded to your secure Time To Pet profile and approved by Best Friends Pet Services prior to the confirmation of any service or the scheduling of a Private Consultation.
Behavioral & Medical Transparency: Owners are required to provide full disclosure of all known medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations (including arthritis, chronic mobility issues, or reactivity). Company oversight is strictly focused on monitoring immediate well-being based on the baseline history provided by the owner.
Emergency Response vs. Clinical Diagnosis: While Company providers are certified in Cat & Dog CPR and Advanced First Aid, these are utilized strictly as emergency response skills for crisis management. Best Friends Pet Services LLC is not a veterinary provider and does not diagnose chronic conditions or medical ailments. Stewardship is intended as emergency advocacy and does not replace professional veterinary diagnostics.
Preventative Health Standards: For the health and safety of the community, all dogs must be maintained on a regular, veterinarian-recommended flea and tick prevention program.
Temperament & Public Safety: We do not provide services for pets with a history of unprovoked aggression toward people or other animals. The safety of your pet, our care providers, and the public is our absolute priority.
Identification & Security: All canine and feline companions must wear a secure collar or harness with current ID tags. For small companions and pocket pets, the Company requires verified secure habitats with locking mechanisms to ensure environmental safety. Microchipping is highly recommended for all eligible species.
Secure Household Access: Owners must provide reliable access to the property (e.g., two sets of keys, a secure lockbox, or a verified smart-lock code) at the time of the Private Consultation.
Emergency Preparedness: Owners must provide up-to-date emergency contact information for themselves and a local alternate contact authorized to make decisions in their absence.
Adequate Provisions: Owners are responsible for ensuring a sufficient supply of food, medication, and necessary pet care items for the duration of the scheduled services.
Environmental Stewardship: A safe, sanitary home environment with functional climate control is required. To ensure a safe baseline before exercise and a healthy thermal recovery afterward, the home must be maintained between 68–78°F (or 75°F or lower for brachycephalic/senior companions). If the home is found to be outside this range upon our arrival or return, we will prioritize your companion's safety by attempting to rectify the environment (e.g., adjusting thermostats or ventilation) as a professional courtesy. To maintain our commitment to punctuality, please note that time spent addressing property readiness is included within the scheduled service window. In cases of equipment failure (A/C malfunction) where the environment cannot be safely cooled, the Firm will immediately contact the Client or Emergency Advocate to authorize relocation of the pet or emergency maintenance. The safety of the companion is our absolute priority; additional fees may apply for time spent managing environmental crises or emergency advocacy.
Right to Refuse & Professional Discretion: To maintain the Gold Standard of safety and the integrity of our professional environment, Best Friends Pet Services LLC reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a care agreement at any time. This includes cases where a companion’s temperament poses a risk to themselves or the care provider, or where a client’s requests fall outside our established Stewardship Protocol. We are committed to a partnership of mutual respect and professional alignment.

Multiple Companion Protocol
Prioritizing safety and precise handling is our primary commitment.
Concurrent Promenades: +$5 per session for each additional dog from the same household walked concurrently (Up to 5 dogs total).
The Promenade Limit: To maintain rigorous safety standards and insurance compliance, we limit concurrent sessions to a maximum of five (5) companions. This ensures that every companion remains under active, professional control.
Individual Session Requirements: To maintain our rigorous safety standards, the provider reserves the right to determine if companions require separate sessions based on temperament or leash skills. If separate sessions are required, each is billed as an individual service.
Elite Puppy Foundation (Under 1 Year)
Puppies require high-frequency engagement and consistent reinforcement during their critical developmental window. To maintain the Gold Standard of puppy stewardship, all sessions for companions under one year are provided as extended developmental blocks:
45-Minute Developmental Promenade: $60
60-Minute Comprehensive Promenade: $70
Stewardship Focus: These mandatory extended timeframes ensure professional capacity for thorough relief breaks, nutritional management, structured environmental exposure, and the meticulous reinforcement of your established loose-leash and focus routines. We prioritize a calm, non-rushed environment to secure essential behavioral milestones.
Professional Service Surcharges
Holiday Observance: +10 per session (See Availability for designated dates).
Priority Booking: +10 for requests made with less than 24-hour notice.
Mandatory Climate Standard: All homes must be maintained between 68–78°F (or 75°F or lower for brachycephalic/senior companions). Failure to maintain a safe environment may result in emergency relocation fees.
Professional Travel Protocol: To maintain the punctuality and dedicated focus required for our Stewardship Standards, Best Friends Pet Services LLC operates within a primary service hub centered in La Mesa.
1. The Primary Hub (In-Network)
Residences located within our primary Greater La Mesa hub enjoy our standard investment rates. This proximity allows for seamless transitions between sessions and ensures our "Gold Standard" of care is never compromised by transit variables.
2. The Logistical Travel Surcharge (Out-of-Network)
For residences located outside our primary hub, a Logistical Travel Surcharge is applied to protect the integrity of your pet’s schedule and our provider’s availability.
Promenades & Wellness Visits: A per-visit surcharge (typically $10–$25) is applied to account for the transit buffer required to guarantee our arrival window.
Distinguished Residencies: A nightly logistical premium (typically $20–$50 per night) is applied. This secures our dedicated presence at your estate and offsets the opportunity cost of operating outside our central service hub.
3. Verification & Custom Quotes
To verify if your residence falls within our primary hub or requires a logistical adjustment, please proceed to our Initial Inquiry Form. All travel protocols are confirmed via a Custom Quote based on precise distance and anticipated transit requirements before services are officially secured.

Standard Service Days
Active Service Days: Tuesday – Saturday
Administrative Stewardship: Sundays and Mondays are reserved for administrative management, Private Consultations, and professional recharging.
Exclusive Flexibility: To ensure we remain energized and present for our companions, Sundays and Mondays are primarily reserved for Administrative Stewardship. However, we are pleased to offer Elite Accessibility on these days for established clients. As long as requests are made with at least 24 hours' notice, standard rates apply. Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice remain subject to the Priority Booking Surcharge.
Service Windows & Safety
Arrival Windows: The Promenade is available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Natural Light Protocol: To ensure safety and visibility, Promenades are scheduled during daylight hours only. Evening care is available via our Boutique Wellness tier.
Holiday Observance: We are honored to provide care on major holidays. A +10 Holiday Surcharge applies per session.
Seasonal Communication: Any specific dates of complete seasonal closure will be communicated to active clients well in advance via the portal.

All payments are processed securely through our digital infrastructure, powered by Stripe and managed exclusively via the Time To Pet portal.
Payment Schedule
Individual Promenades & Wellness Visits: Full payment is required at the time of booking to finalize the reservation and secure the provider’s availability on the Company calendar.
The Gold Circle Packages: Payment for curated recurring packages is due in full upon scheduling to activate the exclusive service frequency and discounted rate structure.
Accepted Methods
Digital Payment (Preferred): For immediate confirmation and security, the Company accepts all major credit cards.
Professional Invoicing: A comprehensive, itemized invoice is generated for every service rendered and remains accessible within the Client Portal for the owner's records and accounting purposes.

To ensure fair compensation for our professional commitments and reserved time, we adhere to the following standards:
Standard Cancellation: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made outside this window incur no charge.
Late Cancellation: Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice are billed at 100% of the scheduled rate.
Access & No-Show: If the care provider is unable to access the home or the pet is unavailable, the service is billed at 100% of the rate to cover the reserved time and travel.
Method: All schedule modifications must be submitted via the Time To Pet portal.

This allows our team to assess your behavioral objectives and ensure alignment with our Stewardship Standards. If a potential match is determined, we will provide a Preliminary Wellness Strategy and an invitation to your Private Consultation.
Established Clients: Effortless Portal Management
All future promenades and schedule modifications are managed through your secure Time To Pet portal. Here, you may view your upcoming itinerary, refine reinforcement cues, and communicate directly with your professional care provider.
Approval & Finalization
Services are submitted via the portal as Pending Requests. Upon review and approval by our team, bookings are finalized through our encrypted payment system. Services are officially added to the schedule once the Approved status is confirmed.
